Aaron shrugged nonchalantly, “Hair does that sometimes. You did just wake up, no big deal.”
Thankfully, Emmeline did not pry. It was embarassing for himself to admit he had a petty nightmare.
He shrugged, once again. “I guess so. I was going to head down to the Great Hall, fancy accompanying me? I reckon not many people are up.”
Emmeline grimaced slightly, trying to flatten her hair with her hands. She gave up again. “Oh well. I guess hair is hair. At least I’m not bald, I suppose.”
She nodded, smiling. “Sure, sounds good. Eating is always a welcome activity.”
